Study at Cambridge
These are usually split into 30 credits for each semester you study. Sixty credits are the equivalent of 1200 notional hours of study; this includes contact time with staff and your own independent learning. This is a four-year version of our popular BA Childhood Studies, with an integrated foundation year. All other applicants who are interested in applying for advanced entry will be considered on an individual basis. You will build upon the skills developed in year one, by exploring the topics in greater depth and introducing specialist modules. Area and development studies
We’ve invested more than £100 million in the development of our campus, new facilities and new resources. If you are a Scottish resident you are not liable to pay fees and should apply to SAAS for funding. We encourage you to be an independent learner from the start of your course. Each module involves two to three hours of timetabled teaching each week, but you will have considerably more follow-up work beyond this.
